Linden Towers

This wonderful mansion was completed in 1878 by one of the Bonanza Kings, James C Flood.  Flood owned a mansion in San Francisco, but wanted a nice little country estate to get away to.  The house ended up being a 45,000 square foot mansion with six stories in the Italianate style.  One can see no expense was spared.  Sadly this home was torn down in the late 1930s after a sale sold most of it's treasures.
